Maybe I'll write more later about what's been going on in those five months, or maybe not.
But today . . . Today the long winter was clearly over. Signs of spring are all around. And I had to bring some flowers in, and take some pictures, and I have to share them. And while we never know what lies ahead and therefore I am willing to be wrong, I just have the feeling that I am going to be here more often, writing more, sharing photos more. Change is in the air.
Spring is in the air. And in my house.
Life is in the air. New life.
Just look.
"It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want --- oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!"
~ Mark Twain

Your first photo has elements that denote time passing, light generating growth, color, and a hope for clarity about the days to come represented by the candle and the crystal vase. May the hands on the clock tick slowly toward summer, availing us of all the expectations and surprise of God's new Spring. Thanks for a photo taste.
Glad you noticed the bit of clock. That was there on purpose. I also hope time may go a bit slowly for a while now, the sort of time we can savor.
I love your yellow spring flowers with the blue, and the Mark Twain quote is spot-on. Nice to see you back, I hope the year progresses well for you!
