Nothing actually stands between saying, “The river sang,” and “It was as if the river sang,” other than a set of rigid rules that forbids the former from being more than a metaphor. -Fr. Stephen Freeman

Hope up close, and a bunny
The peony of hope, from yesterday's post, opened sometime in the past 18 hours.
And this little bunny, along with the irises of yesterday's post, also came from Grandmother's yard. Right now he's at the base of the birdbath, but he moves around.

Beautiful. I'm looking forward to picking out a few plants for my new place.
I thought of you the other day when I was looking for things and flowers to decorate my yard. I saw several statues...to include bunnies. I walked away with nothing, but am still considering how to decorate. I'm thinking perhaps a garden flag and a few potted plants...but really need to clean out the icky rock lined flower bed first and figure out what flowers would work there..'cause it gets no sun.

The bunny is cool.
I expect you remember that bunny from when you were little, he looks like an old friend. Something magical about objects like that...
Hey, comment verification is 'grace'...
Oh, Lucy, I love that you got that word! That is just lovely!
