In a friend's post on her experience of worshiping in a episcopal church, and how she was able to engage her mind even if her heart was hurting, reminded me of the gift you gave me: showing me how it is possible and even more true and in tune with God when we worship admits our pain and heartache! Too many happy-clappy services had dulled me into thinking there was only that way.
